I Quit
Just Quit.
Today, Jack, Adib, Greg and I got interviewed for breaking the high school DMR record at Bishop Amat relays. We won the meet with Adib running the first 1200 meters in a amazing 3:10 handing the boton off to me (tying school record running 49.41 seconds in the 400m dash) handing off to Jack to run the 800 in 2:04 and Greg running a 4:28 mile, WE DESTROYED the Bishop Amat relays lifting Burbank in power rankings and taking the meet trophey. An article in Burbank leader calls us the “Kids who bring Track and Field back to the Sports community” Success is truly measured by the human heart, and on Saturday, March 14, 2009……….WE PREVAILED! A day I will never forget in the fridgide 48 degree cold in Citrus College, at a meet I got to at 7:00 am that was delayed an extra 3 hours at 7:55pm the Burbank Boys get a standing ovation from the crowd gathered at Citrus.

Watchmen! Iv’e seen it twice today, thats how amazing I thought it was, go see it! Best Movie of 09’ so far Some Quotes I really liked: Rorschach: The world will look up and shout “Save us!”… And I’ll whisper “No.” Rorschach: [to prisoners] I’m not locked in here with you! You’re locked in here with ME! Adrian Veidt: It doesn’t take a genius to see the world has problems. Edward Blake: No, but it takes a room full of morons to think they’re small enough for them to handle. Edward Blake: God damn I love working on American soil, Dan. Ain’t had this much fun since Woodward and Bernstein. Congress is pushing through some new bill that’s gonna outlaw masks. Our days are numbered. Till then it’s like you always say, we’re society’s only protection. Dan Dreiberg: From what? Edward Blake: You kidding me? From themselves.
So I had I guess you can say a track career high today. I broke my best mile time in 4:31.41 and ran the 800m in 2:01.58 and I didnt’t know this early in the season this was possible, but I have to thank Alexander Williams, from San Marcos High School, who I didn’t even personally know until today were we fought for number 1 @ moorpark he edged me out at the line but I didn’t care I latched on to him with 200m left in the mile, and he barely edged me out at the line, after the race we were both in oxygen depth and re at the trainers table for about 10 minutes breathing oxygen through a tube, it was weird and we laughed a lot afterwards. Unfortuneately that was his last race for the day he went home while I had to barely make it by in the 800, I actually didn’t give it my all, welll I didn’t even have my all to give. Anyways, I can’t wait for Bishop Amot next Saturday, running Distance and Sprint Medley Relays, hopefully we can add on to a good year.
